Business Training & Events Officer
Requirements
To support the on-boarding of all new operations staff through induction programs.
To audit all departments training programs monthly to ensure they are up to date. (in conjunction with Training Manager)
To organize refresher training on nGaje (Training platform) for all departments
To Add packers to the nGaje Portal to help create a paperless system within the operations area.
To organise the Pack-house Laundry process.
To work in the fields with the supervisors and matrix trainers to ensure correct compliance and encourage correct picking methods.
To issue and control the Staff Lockers.
To help develop and present events at weekends and attend some events meeting in the evenings.
To help design and create new material for upcoming events.
To connect with the wider community to get involved with community support..
Skills/Capabilities and Experience Required:
Excellent communication skills
Good level of English
Good Computer Skills, working with Excel & Word
Previous experience working within a similar role in a Packhouse Operations & Agricultural Environment.
Able to be flexible for working weekends and evenings as well as days.
Enthusiasm, self-confidence and self-motivation.

Pack-House Manager
Ideally with experience in the Fresh Produce sector who has an appreciation for the production standards and requirements within this product sector.
The shift times are approximately 10 to 12 hrs; hence a flexible attitude is required.
Responsibilities:
Ensure optimum recovery of fruit by monitoring grade outs and instructing Line Leaders. Liaison with planning about size allocation.
Ensure grading achieves best financial results for FWM by optimising sizes for market and achieving set targets i.e. bins per hour, cost per kilo etc. Daily confirmation with planning about production plans for next day.
Minimise overtime and box price by utilising excess staff or arrange hours to suit business needs.
Engage direct reports regularly for department debriefings and to give instructions.
Authorise hours for agency and FWM staff. Ensure holidays are planned.
Engage team on performance and ensure all staff issues are raised in a timely manner.
Ensure teams are productive & organised and production plans and stock sheets are followed, monitoring stock rotation, daily liaison/co-operation with planning.
Maintain a healthy business relationship between FWM and its customers, growers and suppliers.
Notify management team of potential order shortages or issues.
Act as a point of contact for growers & visitors.
Ensure Packhouse is maintained to BRC/Customer standard.We are offering:

Assistant QC Manager (Technical)

Responsibilities:
To manage the quality control function throughout the Packhouse and to ensure that QC teams are completing pre-start checks, quality assessments (including weight checks) and label control in order to ensure that company due diligence is being completed correctly and any noncompliance is recorded, actioned and followed up. Responsible for Food Safety and Legality of end product.

Line Leader
Ideally with experience in the Fresh Produce sector who has an appreciation for the production standards and requirements within this product sector.
The shift times are approximately 10 to 12 hrs; hence a flexible attitude is required.
Responsibilities:
To run the packing line as smoothly and efficiently as possible while following the Compliance and Health & Safety Rules.
Perform prestart safety checks for the production line and ensure staff are wearing the correct PPE, provide training and guidance to the packing staff.
Order and collect packaging from the packaging store, and ensure the QC checks all labels & packaging before starting the line.
To prepare and set up the line efficiently, informing input (ODS), output (Chiller) staff and Machine Operator regarding priority of Jobs and keep them updated when changes are made, whilst allowing to order increased amounts of packaging if appropriate.
Ensure the fruit is the correct variety, grower and job number.
To ensure QC’s check all packaging samples (Polybags and Flow wrap) are correct, before use in production.
To complete all paperwork in a timely manner, regular checks with Production Planning and Packhouse Manager.

Online QC (Production)
Ideally with experience in the Fresh Produce sector who has an appreciation for the production standards and requirements within this product sector.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the quality team responsible for the quality of products packed at Mansfield’s ensuring food safety, fruit quality, pack presentation and label/packaging information meet customer’s specifications as well as legal requirements and reporting any issues to QC Manager.
Implementing quality control procedures in accordance with our quality management system, completing the associated documentation correctly and legibly and filed appropriately.
Undertaking inspections and checks at specific standards to ensure that the fruit and product meets customer and legislative requirements and traceability procedures.
Highlighting and communicating any quality trends or product non-conformance to the QC Manager immediately.
Ensure Compliance data and Quality control processes are maintained to BRC/Customer standard and if required assist to internal / external audits.
