Planning Account Manager

This role manages the day-to-day operations of the planning department, ensuring daily completion of tasks across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers, growers, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication with production managers
  • Alert senior management to any potential supply issues
  • Conduct seasonal reviews to identify cost and service improvements across the supply chain
  • Ensure service levels consistently exceed 99.9% and meet customer expectations
  • Coordinate customer-specific seasonal forecasts
  • Manage daily planning tasks, systems, and processes
  • Support production teams (PH, QC, Despatch) with order, programme, and stock information
  • Oversee training for new team members
  • Provide support to the team as needed
  • Work to reduce non-effective costs such as rework
