Planning Account Manager

This role manages the day-to-day operations of the planning department, ensuring daily completion of tasks across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers, growers, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication with production managers
- Alert senior management to any potential supply issues
- Conduct seasonal reviews to identify cost and service improvements across the supply chain
- Ensure service levels consistently exceed 99.9% and meet customer expectations
- Coordinate customer-specific seasonal forecasts
- Manage daily planning tasks, systems, and processes
- Support production teams (PH, QC, Despatch) with order, programme, and stock information
- Oversee training for new team members
- Provide support to the team as needed
- Work to reduce non-effective costs such as rework
