The Company will provide the necessary resources and seeks the co-operation of all employees which is vital for the successful implementation of our Environmental policy.

The farm has developed an Integrated Farm Management Policy in order to provide efficient and profitable production that is economically viable and environmentally responsible.  We aim to minimize the environmental risk while conserving, enhancing and recreating environments that are of importance.

·        Effective resource management including reduction of waste: recycling waste where possible otherwise disposing of waste via approved means

·        Eliminating or minimising the use of pesticides and fertilizers and only applying them when essential in the appropriate manner with accurate record keeping

·        Effective resource management including optimising energy and water efficiency with the minimal use of energy both in terms of fossil fuels and electricity

·        Minimising polluting releases to the environment or adverse environmental effects to air, water and soil: preventing any environmental pollution by adopting sound working practices

·        Preserving all wildlife habitats during production imposing the minimal detrimental effect on the natural environment

·        Belief in providing a sound working environment for all staff implementing a strong health and safety policy with regular checks to prevent risk of injury or damage to health resulting from defective equipment or machinery.
